About Thyme To Dine Events

Michael & Rachel Sanders have over 40 years experience in the catering/licence trade, and took over The Bell Inn at Parkham over 10 years ago, which is now one of the most popular village pubs in North Devon. Over our time here we have taken on an increasing number of outside catering events of growing complexity. We have now decided to formalise our non pub events by creating Thyme to Dine events.

We are based in North Devon and supply the surrounding counties with beautiful cuisine and will travel as far as economically practical into both fixed site village/church halls and private residences or our specialist area marquees in the middle of nowhere.

Thyme to Dine provides an outstanding catering service from small private dinner parties to inspirational weddings and corporate events from 15 to 500 guests. We pride ourselves on going the extra mile if not several to guarantee your event is effortlessly seamless from beginning to close.

Each event will be quoted for on a one off basis to take in to account the individual requirements. Menus will also be written and customised to your special day.

Booking Information

  • On receiving your initial enquiry, we book a meeting to discuss your requirements
  • We provide a timely quotation, provisional schedule and service requirements
  • We ask for a deposit to secure your date
  • We hold additional meetings to fine-tune your day
  • Four weeks prior to your event we ask for confirmation of numbers and any specific details including dietary requirements
  • We normally set up 24 hours prior to your event day
  • We will leave the venue clear of services and equipment within a maximum 48 hours
  • If we feel it necessary we will schedule a pre event run through in the days leading up to your event
